About the brand

Loulou Lollipop started in 2015 with twin sisters Eleanor and Angel, two teether designs, and a mission to make safer, softer essentials for the babies they loved most. The brand's homepage frames a decade of choosing better materials — TENCEL, Tanboocel, and food-grade silicone — though the TENCEL and Tanboocel lines relate to apparel and muslin, not to the listed silicone teether. What the brand publishes

Loulou Lollipop's safety page says it consults independent labs to confirm its products meet its safety standards multiple times throughout the process, and its teether product page says the teether exceeds CPSC and CPSIA requirements for the US market, tested regularly at a government-accredited lab. The discrepancy is preserved, not resolved: “independent labs” (plural) versus “government-accredited lab” (singular), and neither page names a lab or a numbered teether standard. The honest caveats

Sleepwear recall 2022 — different product line

Children's sleepwear (pajamas) imported by Loulou Lollipop was recalled in June 2022 (about 1,300 units): the pajamas failed to meet tight-fitting flammability standards for children's sleepwear, posing a burn risk. That is a different product line from the listed silicone teether, and no recall number was shown for it in this research, so none is printed here. No teether recall was found in this pass.
