About the brand
Mushie describes itself in its product listings as founded in 2018 with a passion for beauty, safety, and function, creating essential products for little ones with Scandinavian-inspired design. Across its own product pages the repeated material line is 100% food-grade silicone, free of BPA, BPS, PVC, and phthalates. Source: Mushie bib product page.
What the brand publishes
Mushie product pages carry the line “Third-party tested to meet CPSIA, ASTM, and Prop 65 standards” — ASTM unnumbered, no lab named, no process described, no report published. One split is worth stating plainly: the listed bath set's own first-party page, as recorded on its product page, contains no third-party-testing, CPSIA, ASTM, or Prop 65 wording; the testing claim for that set comes from a retailer page. The brand page therefore does not claim the testing line for the bath set as first-party. Sources: Mushie bib product page (testing line), Mushie bath set product page.
The honest caveats
FRIGG pacifiers recall 22-054 — Mushie was importer, not maker
FRIGG Silicone Pacifiers, CPSC recall 22-054 (January 19, 2022, about 333,725 units): the base of the silicone nipple has a fine slit that can cause the nipple to detach from the plastic shield, choking hazard. Mushie & Co was the importer, not the manufacturer (FRIGG Production ApS, Denmark). That is a different product from the listed Mold-Free Bath Play Set, and no recall of the bath set itself was found in this pass.
